“It’s a jewelry box,” says Cann of the resulting structure, which was built by Brian Arnold of B.R. Arnold Construction, and includes a two-car garage and 2,180 square feet of living space. The welcoming nature of the space embraces you the minute you step through the door.
The master bathroom vanity was crafted from a piece of 200-year-old heart pine, salvaged by Arnold and kept as part of his private stock. The wood was customized to fit the vintage sink Carla found, imbuing the piece with a sense of history. “It was finished in a way that left the rings visible to highlight the visual texture of the wood,” Arnold says.
